We are implementing a variety of initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of our business activities, including the reduction of energy consumption and the effective use of resources.

The head office and the Hakodate office have replaced all lights with LEDs as part of an initiative to promote energy-saving lighting. As well as mitigating our environmental impact by reducing electricity consumption, the introduction of LED lighting is also contributing to lower power costs.

In July 2025, we switched to virtually 100% renewable energy for all the electricity used at the Hakodate office. We are promoting the use of renewable energy as a first step toward the reduction of our environmental impact

We are actively promoting the digitization of office work with initiatives such as the introduction of paperless meetings and reducing the number of photocopiers. These initiatives have drastically reduced paper consumption, helping to save resources and reduce waste. In the fiscal year ended June 2019, we used approximately 2,290,000 sheets of paper (A4 equivalent), but in the fiscal year ended June 2025, we used approximately 320,000 sheets (A4 equivalent), achieving a reduction of approx. 85%.

Once data erasure has been completed in line with our internal data deletion rules, we donate retired computers to organizations involved in social contribution activities, promoting their effective use through reuse and recycling. We are also working to optimize the number of devices in use and curb the generation of waste by centralizing the allocation and inventory management of business-use devices within a single department.
