IWI celebrated its 40th anniversary on December 27, 2024.

Since our founding in 1984, we have maintained our desire to “change the world and create the future,” and have provided numerous IT infrastructure that supports society, including a non-stop card payment system that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Currently, IWI is engaging in the transformation of its business, technology and human resources under the banner of “Transformation for the Future,” aimed at contributing to the realization of a sustainable society and our own sustainable growth.

IWI is working on the creation of new business that solves social and corporate issues by combining its core technologies, its strengths, with cutting-edge technologies. Furthermore, by using our relationships of trust with client companies, centered on the payment industry, we are also deepening our collaboration with DNP (Dai Nippon Printing) Group and other companies and organizations, and strengthening cross-industry initiatives to work on the resolution of issues that would be difficult for any one company to address alone.

The company’s organizational culture of taking on challenges, such as putting into practice a non-stop card payment system that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, which was considered difficult in 1984, is also a strength of IWI. We will also strengthen our human capital so that each and every employee can engage further in the creation of new value.

In the advanced information society of the future that will balance the resolution of social issues and economic growth, highly reliable IT infrastructure that connects diverse data and processes it with certainty in real time will be essential.
