Information Security Policy

We at Intelligent Wave Inc. (IWI) believe that the support of the three groups of “customers,” “shareholders and other stakeholders” and “employees” is essential for the development of a corporation. Not only is it important to satisfy the needs of each of these groups but to also attain appropriate profits, and assure the retention and continuity of the company with activities that are not opposed to or by society as a whole. With this in mind, we provide our customers with services in the three lines of business: Retail banking online systems, System solutions and Security systems.
In each of these business areas, we place the utmost priority on “what services we should provide that will satisfy our customers,” and set continuous provision of services as our business target. We recognize that it is the role of security management to prevent and restrain security risks, threats and other factors that may prohibit the continuous provision of services.
With this recognition, we have established the information security policy described below. IWI will ensure that information security management is implemented, to become a company that garners further satisfaction and trust from customers and to assure the continuous provision of our services.
 
  1. 1.Commitment to Information Security
    IWI is determined to establish its security management system and endeavors to enhance information security within the company, based on the latest advancements in information technologies, development and maintenance work in information systems, handling of information and other factors.
  2. 2.Education and Training
    IWI will work to have its officers and employees become more knowledgeable and conscious about information security, and provide them with education and training to assure the implementation of information security in the company.
  3. 3.Prevention of Security Failures and Accidents, and Responses
    IWI will make every effort to prevent any security failure or accident. In the case a failure or accident should occur, IWI will immediately take appropriate measures and work to prevent the reoccurrence of such.
  4. 4.Legal Compliance
    IWI demands strict adherence to security-related laws and internal regulations concerning information security by all of its employees.
  5. 5.Measures against Violation of Security
    IWI will take measures, including reprimands, based on its rules and regulations against any party who violates IWI’s information security policy and internal regulations concerning information security.
  6. 6.Continuity of Business and Service
    IWI will establish procedures for managing the continuity of business in advance and work to appropriately maintain operations through training and testing. These preparations will allow IWI to recover the provision of its services, even when an incident occurs in which material failures or disasters interrupt the continuity of services and operations, in order to meet customers’ expectations.
